In psychodynamic therapy, clients review emotions, thoughts, early-life experiences, and beliefs to gain insight into their lives and their present-day problems and identify the patterns they have developed over time.

This therapy is practical and goal-driven with an emphasis on clear, concise, realistic solutions to issues.
